This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

Money Management International (MMI) and its family of Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) agencies make up the largest nonprofit, full-service credit counseling agency in the United States.  

 

Community Asset Building

The Texas Asset Building Coalition has created a database of Asset Building Programs in Texas.  This database allows people to look up an asset building activity by selecting the program from the list ( i.e. IDA, free tax preparation, etc.) and then by typing in their zip code.
