Identity theft occurs when someone uses personal information without your permission to commit fraud or other crimes. Identity thieves use information such as your name, Social Security number, credit card number, or other identifying information.

AlertMe is a service to monitor your Credit Bureau file for material changes such as a new account that could be the indication of an ID Theft.
